Hey, I guess I'll follow Lucky's lead and describe Fracture.
Fracture is a young unicorn (about 18, if he had to guess.) from San Franciscolt. He spent the past several years of his life on the streets, where a powerful need to eat drove him to petty theft. Fracture took to this lifestyle reluctantly; he had his morals, but the need to survive over-wrote his displeasure towards theft. He became more and more skilled at stealing as the years went on, and attracted the attention of the local organized crime circuit, who "persuaded" him to join. One thing led to another and he found himself on the wrong end of the saying "no honor amongst thieves." Pleading (and feeling) guilty, he landed with 14 years in Qualderwahl; a sentence which he took with surprising optimism.
At his core, Fracture is a good kid who got in over his head. While others see transportation as a harsh punishment, Fracture sees it as an opportunity to get away from his past and start anew. After all, Qualderwahl's managed to provide him with food, shelter, and an honest job. He may choose to stay after he's paid his debt to society.
I had no plans for how Fracture's going to progress, and story-wise, I think that's for the best; See how Qualderwahl shapes this young stallion.

Oh I sure hope Lilac doesn't see High Ground pull something like that again. Wow.

That final scene; It was like Fracture was looking at himself, and had no way of helping. He is not going to be a happy pony next session.

It will be interesting to see the characters have to constantly decide between breaking the rules and following them, and having to keep their increasingly complex secrets.

Oh, man! That session was insane! Alethia and Taproot construct a plan to remove Mensch from power, who Fracture discovers is not only his long-lost father, but also the leader of the gang he was in when he lived in San Franciscolt. High Ground discovers what love is and not only speaks in a complete sentence, but also an entire paragraph! Lilac Dreams and Suzuran aid Dr. Lovat in successfully creating a cure for the common cold, and torn ligaments. Then, and entire band of ninja pirates attack Ruddy Quay. The party, aided by the wild jackalopes of Qualderwahl, successfully prevent the ninja pirates from stealing the town's bountiful stocks of chunky slop, and Bandyleg's secrets to farming 11 herbs and spices.
Actually, none of that happened; Two of our players were having a great time at Bronycon, so the game was postponed.

Seeing as my body is wracked with sickness at the moment, the cleaned up log for this week's session (session 4) will be delayed for a day or two until I feel less heinously ill

Fracture's too... good. How'd he end up here again?

None of you are too good; remember that, kids This Sunday's game will start the first 'arc' of sorts in the story, and will jump ahead in time to a month after arrival. I planned for these jumps in future arcs, with the length of time steadily increasing each time it does so. Hopefully it won't be too jarring.

Fracture and Lilac are going to need hugs. Almost dying tends to create that need.

Beats years of expensive and painful therapy, I suppose! You should petition for them to import a psychiatrist from the mainland next time the boat comes by.

But but but... what if the psychiatrist they send over is the kind that got arrested for hypnotizing ponies to commit crimes, like in "The Naked Gun"?
