SWMLP: Adventures Wanted

“Ah, you're a new face around here. I take it that you are here for the job?” The grinning Earth Pony behind the desk asked.
“Indeed, if you would like here are a few samples I wrote up on my way here.”
“Let me see...” The Earth Pony glanced down at the page before scowling and shoving it away. “If I wanted a writer I would have asked for one, Any pony with a quill and ink can throw together something like this. Thrilling Pony Tales is real ponies doing real things, not the flight of fancy of somepony with a quill in hoof. Get out there and experience the world, and I will handle the rest. Sound agreeable?.”
Basic Concept
You all are working for Thrilling Pony Tales, a magazine of world travel and adventure tales based out of Manehattan, with your official role being ‘Researchers’ responsible for going out and having adventures worth writing about (both wilderness and civilized). Before each 2-4 session arc (besides the first) I will poll the party for potential destinations of where to head next, which will be largely up to you as a party member to inspire, and when you do arrive Inevitably you manage to get involved in something interesting going on, though what that may be could be a tad bit unexpected.
Character Creation
Standard Novice characters
Wanted and Geas Hindrances are not allowed; Heroic and Curious count as a pair of Minor Hindrances when taken together
The World
For this campaign the world of Equestria is very open ended, and created as needed by players and GM alike as the players go out and experience the world. Pretty much anything that you as a player can imagine can exist within the world, within reason.
Gameplay
This campaign will be run once a week using IRC. Time is still to be determined at the suggestion of interested players.
For this campaign I will be taking up to 5 players.
