So, for all of you who are without a game at the moment, this thread is for all of your grousing and wishing that someone would step up and offer to run a game. More seriously, if you are considering running a game, here is a place to pitch your ideas to potential players, as well as receive encouragement and advice.

Well, since I'm no longer in a game any more I guess this would be the perfect opportunity to use this thread for what it was made for, whining and complaining about not being in a game But on a more serious note is anyone out there got a campaign needing players or are going to be running a campaign at some point which I can throw my hat in and say "I'd like to play"?

I would like to play something as well. I'm running a game (that I don't feel comfortable talking about on the forum, because it's really kinda weird and crazy because it's basically me throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks), but I'd like to actually play in more stuff than just BtS.

I will counter on this tack, Rodger. GMing a game is nowhere near as fun as playing in one. It's a lot of work, and sometimes ends up with a high sense of frustration dealing with players that either unwillingly or knowingly work against your plot that you're desiring to carry out.
Yes, I understand the necessity for a person to help organize and run games, but having led more toward a tack of turning into a GM--a rather inconsistent and as I consider myself, incompetent, at best--I've had my fair taste of putting things together and am wanting to get back in the swing of playing.

I can understand getting burned by a bad game experience, and that being a GM isn't for everyone; in general I'd say I prefer playing, but my favorite RPG experiences have all been running. For the moment, I try to run FND at least bi-weekly, and I'm always up for rotating in players.
